I grew up in a city of magic. My sister Ceela and neighbor Benyin are magic willers. I was the unlucky one. No magic, but that didn’t bother me until Ceela disappeared. I know it has something to do with her magic, and I’m going to get her back. But, to do so, I’ll have to go into the heart of the VR world Ring, obtain magical abilities and win the ultimate challenge. My name is Sanjo, and this is my story.

Meet Amari and Ceela, characters in a new comic book, Sanjo, in the works.

I've been working on a few stories with an android, so it's nice to see Amari come to life.

I figured out her color scheme, and I'm loving her look. I love the orange with the turquoise and the jeans with the orange strip on one side.

What do you think?

Seeing a world in my head come to life through illustrations is exciting. The city Zumia in my new comic, Sanjo, is a two-level city, and I think the illustrator captures it.

I've been working on these characters off and on for years. They've been through a few character design changes and were initially supposed to be younger, but I think having them be a little older will work out well for the comic.

These twin martial art students are only in a few scenes but are fun characters to write about. Tyna is the feisty sister, and Row is the patient one. I love their personalities. They are great contrasts to their opponents.
