Baby Princess and the Lost Doll is a joy to read. The illustrations are warm and invite the reader into the story. I couldn't stop smiling at Baby Princess's expressions throughout. The attention to this detail really brings the emotion in the story to life. It is a short, magical adventure for young readers. I recommend this book.

The illustrations for this book were beautiful. Every page full of wonderful colors and details. I only wish the story telling was a bit better. It is definitely very easy to follow for a very young child, but I believe every story should add a little more to help develop a child’s vocabulary and story telling. The story gets very repetitive with almost every sentence starting with “Baby Princess” or “The Magical Doll.”

My granddaughter loved it. Whenever her parents let her spend the night I read it to her and her favorite doll at bedtime. She told she would never let anyone take her favorite doll-Anna away. It has become one of her favorite books.

I love this book. I would recommend this book to any parent.

Baby Princess is going shopping with her mother. She was sure to bring her favorite doll along. There were people browsing and she was too. She spotted an unusual doll smiling at her. The doll didn’t speak but pointed and Baby Princess followed her. This unusual doll tricked her and tried to take her favorite doll away. A scuffle ensued and her doll was lost in a bag of other dolls. Do you think Baby Princess got her doll back? You’ll have to read the story to see the cliffhanger.

Author and illustrator McManus does a wonderful job of creating and inviting and colorful story perfect for young readers. Her illustrations are artful and depict the community in an African village. Parents and teachers can use this as a tool to teach young readers about African culture and maybe some magic.

Imagine "Baby Princess's" surprise when the magic doll actually swipes Baby Princess's favorite doll from her hands and runs away! Read to find out all changes the magic doll put Baby Princess through when she was running away with her favorite doll. This book leaves you on the edge of your seat until the very end, when.... I'm NOT telling you...read the book!!!

I read this book to my daughter for her night time read and she loved it! The illustration is adorable and the story keeps you hanging on. We’re anticipating the next installment in the series. We can’t wait to see what happens next! I highly recommend.

Wow! The first thing that came to mind when I read Baby Princess and the Lost Doll was just how gorgeous the illustrations were! The vibrant colors and attention to detail when it came to the African heritage depicted throughout the story were all so beautiful! The story of the mischievous doll added to the book's personality. A fun read for any child with a broad imagination. I look forward to will what happen next in this ongoing tale! Good job!
